Ronald L. Martin, age 74 of Pequea, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 17, 2021. He was the husband of Jacquelyn Herr Martin with whom he celebrated 52 years of marriage. He was born in Lancaster, son to the late Elwood and Doris Havercamp Martin. Ron was a member of Rawlinsville United Methodist Church. He worked for Henry Martins and Son’s for almost 40 years. Ron was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of Greenhill Sportsmans Club, Mosquito Creek Sportsman Club, and a lifetime member of Pequea Valley Sportsman Club. He also enjoyed crabbing and working on cars and trucks. Most of all he loved spending time with his family. Elizabeth A. Grisham, 67, of Marticville Road, Pequea, passed away at Hospice and Community Care, Mt. Joy, Pa on Sunday, November 14, 2021 following a courageous battle with cancer. She and her husband, Roger C. Grisham celebrated 36 years of marriage. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late John P. and Gloria Aston Mundorff. A homemaker, she also assisted her husband with his business, Whitetail Archery at the Buck, where she was well known for her skill in arrow making. She was a member of Marticville United Methodist Church. Jesse S. Stoltzfus, age 74, of 362 Street Road, Oxford, passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021.
He was the husband of Sylvia R. Lapp Stoltzfus. Born in Morgantown, he was the son of the late Eli L. and Katie Stoltzfus Stoltzfus. Jesse was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. Kevin Michael Graeff, 41, of Lititz, died atLancaster General Hospital Saturday, November 1311/16/2021
Kevin Michael Graeff, 41, of Lititz, entered into rest on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lancaster he was the son of Donald E., husband of Ann Graeff of Lititz and Cynthia (Dull) Mitchell, wife of Edward of Willow Street. Kevin enjoyed listening to music and was part of the Excentia Adult Day Program. The family would like to express their thanks to the staff and caregivers at Excentia Human Services for their wonderful care of Kevin. Larry E Reinhart, 62, of Refton passed to his heavenly home on November 11, 2021, at Lancaster General Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Roy R and Eva M (Johnson) Reinhart. He is survived by a son Timothy James (TJ) Reinhart (Nesha Stoltzfus) of Refton, a brother Edward L. (Mary Etta) of Quarryville, and a nephew Steven of Dauphin PA and a niece Susan of Parkville MD. He was a 1977 graduate of Lampeter-Strasburg High School. Larry worked for many years as a self-employed carpenter. In later years he was a fire police instructor and transported vehicles for a local auto dealer. Ronald G. McFalls, 93, of Willow Street, PA died Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community. He was the husband of Gloria M. Rineer McFalls who died October 18, 2015. Born in Lancaster he was the son of the late Charles & Anna May Huber McFalls. Ron was a member of Clearfield United Methodist Church. He had been employed by K&D Tool, Lancaster in the plating Department for 20 years and had previously been employed in security for Colonial Metals in Columbia. Patricia E. Bard, 78, of New Providence died at Lancaster General Hospital Monday, November 811/12/2021
Patricia E. Bard, age 78 of New Providence, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021 at the Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Quarryville, she was the daughter of the late Ernest “Mike” and Isadore Garvin Bard. Pat was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church in Quarryville and she attended Grace Community Church in Willow Street. She worked many jobs over the years, including: Dotties Snack Bar, Schick Enterprises, Donnelly Printing, where she retired, and Wiley’s Pharmacy after retirement. Charlotte Dickson, age 89 of Peach Bottom, passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021.
She was the wife of the late Gwyn Dickson. She was born in Peach Bottom daughter to the late Charles Sr. and Vera McCardell Bussell. In her younger years she was a volunteer with the Robert Fulton Fire Company Auxiliary; the Food Committee at the Solanco Fair and was a member of Solanco Historical Society. Charlotte was a farm wife but when the children were older, she was employed at Weis Market in Willow Street and at Musser's Market at the Buck. She thoroughly enjoyed gardening, nature, and loved watching birds and wildlife on the family farm. She also loved the many family pets and her favorite TV show "Incredible Dr. Pol." Elmer Wade, 85, of Quarryville, passed peacefully into eternity with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. His loving wife of 68 years, Faye (Shoemaker) was by his side. Born August 11, 1936 to the late Clair and Frances Wade, Elmer attended Quarryville High School as part of the graduating class of 1954. Elmer and Faye were married at the age of 17. "They tried to tell us we're too young, too young to really be in love." 68 years later-they've never been more in love. Elmer got his start in the car business working for Abel Tire in Quarryville, pumping gas and changing tires. In 1962 he began working for Spence Motors (later Stoner-Wagner) as a salesman, and two years later became partner. He took sole ownership in 1986, and later with his sons, the dealership became known as Stoner-Wade Ford. Elmer fully retired and sold the business in 2018. He enjoyed serving the town's customers for 56 years. What a blessing it was to do what he loved. Joyce P. Rohm, 75, of New Providence and formerly of Kirkwood, entered into rest on Monday, November 8, 2021 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Nixdorf and Joyce F. (Smith), wife of James Ressler. She was the wife of the late Carl L. Rohm. Joyce worked as a L.P.N. at Willow Valley for many years. She also worked in labor and delivery at Birth Care and Family Health Services in Quarryville. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Joyce enjoyed scrap booking, crafting, and cooking. She was also a bookkeeper for her late husband’s business, Rohm’s glazing. Joyce’s family meant everything to her and she cared deeply for them. |
