![]() Linda Mae Todd of Quarryville died at Hershey Medical Center on Wednesday, September 25, 2013. She was 65. Mrs. Todd had been fighting the aftereffects of pancreatitis for seven months. Born in Lancaster, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Agnes Sullivan Eshelman. She, her sister, and her sister-in-law owned and operated Abigail's Trunk in Quarryville through the mid 1990s. Mrs. Todd was an avid reader and an ardent supporter of the Quarryville Library. She served on the library's board of directors and worked with the Friends of the Quarryville Library. For many years, she chaired that group's fall and spring book sale fundraisers. Martha Ruth Campbell died at Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community on Saturday, September 21, 2013. She was 92.
Mrs. Campbell was born in Christiana, a daughter of the late Leroy T. and B. Maud Eckman Quigley. Paul L. Kelley of Martic Township died at Hospice and Community Care on Saturday, September 21, 2013. He was 81.
Mr. Kelley was born in Randallstown, Md., a son of the late Thomas and Adeline Schaeffer Kelley. Lucille Steele of Ware Presbyterian Village, Oxford, died on Saturday, September 21, 2013. She was 97.
Helen D. Weber of Willow Valley Square died on Tuesday, September 17, 2013. She was 85. Mrs. Weber was born in Summit, N.J., a daughter of the late James and Agnes McAdam Duguid.
Evelyn A. Wimer of Quarryville died at the Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community on Friday, September 20, 2013.
She was 95. Mrs. Wimer was born in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Freeman G. and Virgie E. Aukamp. Hazel Virtue of Quarryville died at home on Thursday, September 12, 2013. She was 94.
Mrs. Virtue was born in Little Britain, a daughter of the late Alonzo and Betty Howard Shoemaker. She and her husband farmed in Little Britain Township. ![]() Anna Mae Forbes of Quarryville died at home on Thursday, September 12, 2013. She was 88. Mrs. Forbes was born in Baltimore, a daughter of the late Arthur and Edith Katherine Bradley Weaver. She was a graduate of Millersville State Teachers College. Mrs. Forbes worked as a school librarian, first in New Jersey and then in the Solanco School District. She retired from Solanco in 1990 after 38 years' service. Lois E. Morrison, of New Providence, died on Sunday, September 1, 2013 at Lancaster General Hospital. She was 83.
Mrs. Morrison was born in Bedford County, daughter of the late Charles R. and Mary Elizabeth Mickle Barefoot. Doris A. Brubaker, of East Petersburg, died on Sunday, September 1, 2013. She was 79.
Mrs. Brubaker was born in New Providence, daughter of the late Oliver and Vergie Witmer Fisher. |
