 Albert Thomas Winters of Quarryville died on Monday, June 24, 2013. He was 63.
Mr. Winters was born in Rawlinsville, a son of Martha Stokes Winters of Kirkwood and the late Albert Thomas Winters Sr. He worked for Exelon Corporation before he retired. Mr. Winters' lifelong passion was farming. He was a member of the Ancient Order of Croaking Frogs, Quarryville, and the Southern Lancaster County Sportsman's Association. Mr. Winters was always working on projects.  Rickie L. Walters of Peach Bottom died at Lancaster General Hospital on Tuesday, June 25, 2013. He was 55.
Mr. Walters was born in Manheim, a son of Mary L. Walters of Quarryville and the late Clair E. Walters. He worked for the Buck Company.  Glen R. "Spec" Lefever of May Post Office Rd., Quarryville, died at home on Sunday, June 23, 2013. He was 75.
Mr. Lefever was born in Eden Township, a son of the late J. Roy and M. Viola Yuninger Lefever. He apprenticed as a carpenter with Frank Herr and then worked as a self-employed building contractor. In 1987, he started working for the Strasburg Railroad; he retired from the railroad in 2009. Frank C. Griest of Elverson died on Friday, June 21, 2013. He was 57.
Mr. Griest was born in Lancaster, a son of Frances Fite Griest and the late James E. Griest Sr. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughters, Julie Griest of New Holland, Sharon Weaver of New Holland, Robin Griest of Terre Hill, and Marcia Caldwell of Lancaster; eight grandchildren; his sister, Sally Dowlin of Bainbridge; and two brothers, Daniel Griest of Quarryville and Farmer Griest of Ephrata.  June O. Mylin of Quarryville died on Monday evening, June 24, 2013. She was 67.
Mrs. Mylin was born in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Harry P. and Ruth Morris O'Donnell. She worked at local restaurants, for the American Seed Company, and at Solanco High School. She also worked with her husband in the family business, Dean H. Mylin Trucking, for more than 45 years. Glen Roger Miller of Arcadia Trace Rd., Peach Bottom, died at Lancaster General Hospital on Friday, June 7, 2013. He was 62. Mr. Miller was born in Marion, Va., a son of Agnes Wyatt Miller of Peach Bottom and the late Victor Miller.
Helen K. Stanley of Holtwood died on Friday, June 14, 2013. She was 84. Mrs. Stanley was born in Drumore, a daughter of thelate Jennngs B. and Stella Campbell Huss. She worked as a waitress at Willow Valley. Mrs. Stanley was a member of Conowingo Baptist Church, Conowingo, Md.
Mary E. "Hon" Rineer Krewson of Elizabethtown died at Manor Care on Sunday, June 9, 2013. She was 92. Mrs.
Krewson was born in Strasburg, a daughter of the late Howard C. and Rett Wimer Rineer. Anne M. Stottlemyer died on Sunday, May 26, 2013. She was 83. Mrs. Stottlemyer was born in Dormont, a daughter of the late Thomas Charles and Anne Horton Morrow McDermott.
Mary E. Hurst, formerly of New Providence, died on Friday, May 24, 2013. She was 98. Mrs. Hurst was born in Lancaster County, a daughter of the late David S. and Mary E. Huber High.
