Charlotte Dickson, age 89 of Peach Bottom, passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021. She was the wife of the late Gwyn Dickson. She was born in Peach Bottom daughter to the late Charles Sr. and Vera McCardell Bussell. In her younger years she was a volunteer with the Robert Fulton Fire Company Auxiliary; the Food Committee at the Solanco Fair and was a member of Solanco Historical Society. Charlotte was a farm wife but when the children were older, she was employed at Weis Market in Willow Street and at Musser's Market at the Buck. She thoroughly enjoyed gardening, nature, and loved watching birds and wildlife on the family farm. She also loved the many family pets and her favorite TV show "Incredible Dr. Pol." She is survived by 5 children; Richard husband of Shirley Dickson or New Providence, Bryan Dickson of Peach Bottom, Susan Dickson of Lancaster, Sarah Dickson of Lancaster, Amy Riley of Quarryville, a grandson John R. Riley of Quarryville, a step grandson, William Trout of New Providence, a brother, Charles R. Bussell of Lancaster, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by 2 sisters; June Cummings and Florence Wakefield, and a brother, Fred Bussell. Funeral service took place at the convenience of the family with interment in Mount.
