Henrietta Butler Crabtree Coulbourn, 95, of Quarryville died at her home, Wednesday, May 17

    Henrietta (Butler) Crabtree Coulbourn, 95, of Quarryville, passed away on Wednesday May 17, 2023 in the comfort of her home.
    She was born on May 8, 1928 in Chadds Ford Pennsylvania, daughter of the late William H. Butler and Emma Talley Butler.
    Henrietta loved the Lord and her family. She was a member of Elam United Methodist Church since 1953, where many of her ancestors were also members. She spent most of her life as a homemaker, but also worked as a secretary and bookkeeper. She enjoyed spending time with family and volunteering at the local library and at her church.
    She was preceded in death by two husbands, Elmer Crabtree and James Coulbourn and two sons, John Crabtree and Kenneth Crabtree. Also preceding her were three brothers and four sisters. ​

   Henrietta is survived by sons, Richard, husband of Karen Crabtree of Chincoteague, VA and James Crabtree of Quarryville, PA; three step daughters, two granddaughters, Shannon (Crabtree) Daddario and Heather (Crabtree) Field; six step grandchildren and three great grandsons. She is also survived by sisters, Lillian Weekes of Macungie, PA and Irene Redden of Elkton MD; as well as many nieces and nephews.
    A funeral service will take place at Elam United Methodist Church, 1073 Smithbridge Rd., Glen Mills, PA 19342 on Friday, May 26, 2023 at 11 AM. There will be a viewing at the church from 10-11 a.m. Interment will follow in the adjoining church cemetery.
