Virginia H. Beach, 88, entered into glory on Monday, March 28, 2016 at the Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community. She and her late husband, Reverend Roger L. Beach moved to the retirement community in 2004. Born in Melrose, MA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Reed) Dunn. Virginia was a librarian, working at the Gilbertsville Central School in New York and continued sharing her skills by volunteering at the Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community’s library. She enjoyed reading, sewing, knitting and researching her family genealogy. Virginia was a member of Faith Reformed Presbyterian Church. She is survived by daughters, Deborah, wife of Jack Smith of Oregon, Sarah, wife of Linn Beckwith of New York, Martha, wife of Philip McInnis of New York and Susan, wife of Timothy Cameron of Ohio along with 20 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Katharine, and her brother, Robert.
A celebration of Virginia’s life will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 1:30 P.M. at the Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community’s Ellingsworth Auditorium, 625 Robert Fulton Highway, Quarryville, PA 17566. There will be an opportunity to greet the family immediately following the service. The arrangements have been entrusted to Dewald Funeral & Cremation Services in Quarryville.
