Tracy M. Blevins, 79, of Quarryville, entered into rest on Monday, March 19, 2018 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Marion, VA, he was the son of the late Oscar L. and Minnie P. (Sheets) Blevins. He was married to Martha S. (McCommon) Blevins for 57 years. Tracy had proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He had worked for the former E.E. Murray Construction Co. Tracy had attended Colerain Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and spending time at his cabin with friends and family. Tracy coached little league baseball in the Southern End for many years. He was instrumental in founding Kirkwood Park. In addition to his loving wife, Martha, he is survived by two sons: Jeff, husband of Lorena Blevins of Quarryville and Doug, husband of Karen Blevins of Lampeter. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren: Cody, Dustin, Sarah, and Ryan; 3 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Pauline Duvall and Margaret Axe. He was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Blevins and siblings: James, Clarence, Walter, David and Stephen Blevins, and Mary Perkins.
A celebration of Tracy’s life will take place at the Solanco Senior Center at the Solanco Fairgrounds, 184 S. Lime St., Quarryville, PA 17566 on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. The family will receive friends from 10-11:30 a.m. The family requests casual attire. Interment will be private. Kindly omit flowers; contributions in Tracy’s memory can be made to the Colerain Baptist Church, 1923 Noble Rd., Kirkwood, PA 17536.
