Lucinda Mae Sapp, 56, of Oxford PA, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at her home. She was the wife of Charles Ben Sapp. They had celebrated 9 years of marriage. Born in Orlando, FL, she was the daughter of Hal and Shirley Halsey Phipps of Peach Bottom, PA. Cindy lived for her daughter and grandchildren. She enjoyed yarn crafts, crocheting, cooking and baking. She thoroughly enjoyed going to the beach. A member of Wrightsdale Baptist Church, she was one of the “Melody Makers”, a 6 women choral group. In addition to her parents and husband, she is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Coles (Walt), Brownstown, PA, grandchildren, Landon and Peyton Coles, siblings, Sandy Duncan (Dave), Quarryville, Chip Phipps (Christine), Peach Bottom, Gary Phipps, Lancaster, step children, Amanda Sapp, Newark, DE, and Steven Sapp, Townsend, DE. Friends are invited to attend a celebration of life service at Wrightsdale Baptist Church, 310 Little Britain Road, Peach Bottom on Friday, February 3, 2017, at 11:00 AM., with Pastor Steve Sheldon officiating. Friends are invited for a time of refreshments and visiting following the service at the church.
Traditional private burial will be in the Little Britain Presbyterian Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wrightsdale Baptist Church Building Fund.
