Kay Marie Reinhart, 92, formerly of Ronks, entered into rest on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at the Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community. Born in Paradise, she was the daughter of the late J. Earl and Mary Margaret (Miller) Rice. She was the loving wife of Paul J. Reinhart for 67 years at the time of his passing in 2017. Kay was a graduate of Paradise High School. She was a longtime member of Middle Octorara Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed being social, especially during her time working at Good ‘N Plenty Restaurant and the Amish Farm and House. She retired as a file clerk from Hartman, Underhill and Brubaker Law Firm. Kay loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Kay is survived by two children, Michael Reinhart of Lancaster; and Jan, wife of Scott Tanguy of New Providence; two grandchildren, Joelle, wife of Chris Eyster and Jarid Tanguy; two great grandchildren, Noah and Oliver Eyster; and siblings, Mary Brown and Joseph Rice. She was preceded in death by a son, Curtis Reinhart and a sister, Jean DeVerter. A Funeral Service will take place at Middle Octorara Presbyterian Church, 1199 Valley Rd., Quarryville, PA on Friday, May 3, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. There will be a viewing at the church from 10-11 a.m. Private interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
