Elizabeth Jane "Libby" Moore, 93, of New Providence, passed peacefully at home on Tuesday evening, May 11, 2021. Born in Strasburg, she was the daughter of the late Levi and Leah (Shissler) Devonshire. She had been married to the late Harold H. Burns and the late Donald Moore. Libby was a graduate of the former East Lampeter High School. She had worked as a store manager for Food Fair in Colonia, NJ and had also been a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Post # 471 and a deacon at First Presbyterian Church both in Iselin, NJ. Libby had most recently been a member of Wesley Church in Quarryville. She enjoyed traveling extensively throughout the United States. Libby is survived by 3 children: Bill Burns (Patty), Vickie Boryeskne, and Patty Ball. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, William Ball, a grandson, William Ball III, one great-great grandchild and 4 siblings. A celebration of Libby's life will take place at Wesley Church, 1104 Kirkwood Pike, Quarryville, PA on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Blake Deibler officiating. There will be a visitation at the church from 12:30 - 1 p.m. A luncheon will follow the service at Sunset Estates, 2319 Beaver Valley Pike, New Providence, PA 17560. Interment will be private.
