Bruce Letterman, 76, of Newark, DE died Monday, September 11

    Bruce Letterman, age 76, of Newark, DE, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 11, 2023.
    Bruce was a faithful Christian and active member of Newark Baptist Church.
    He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many. Bruce was deeply devoted to his family and loved anytime that the family could be together.

    Bruce enjoyed working on cars, especially old cars, and he was a whiz at working on small engines. Bruce was always helping in the community; he often fixed lawnmowers and people knew who to come to if they needed help with anything mechanical! Bruce enjoyed watching sports with his grandson. He loved animals, especially his dogs Jag, Taz and Jazz who were his constant companions.
    Bruce is survived by his cherished wife, Jackie Letterman; daughter, Kim Falconi (Dave); sons: Steven Letterman, Kovy Letterman (Erin), and Kury Letterman (Melissa); grandchildren, Michael and Kayla (Matt); sister, Hanna Jane; brothers: John, Wayne and Gerald Letterman; and a host of nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernie and Ella Letterman; grandchildren: Noah, Noel, and Malecai; sisters: Vivian Oliver, Lois Greer, and Evelyn Brooks; and brother BL.
    A visitation will be held Friday, September 22, 2023, from 10-11 AM at Newark Baptist Church, 6011 Telegraph Rd., Elkton, MD 21921 followed by a celebration of  Bruce’s life at 11 AM.  A burial will follow at Kemblesville United Methodist Church Cemetery.
