Barbara Ann Rodeffer, 79, of Holtwood, was called Home on Thursday, September 7, 2017. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Ruth (Wells) Blackburn. She was married for 50 years to the late Vernon Rodeffer who died in 2007. Barbara was a homemaker. Having lived in western Pennsylvania most of her life, she had been actively involved with the Christian Women’s Club in Uniontown. She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. Barbara enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and traveling. She was especially fond of her four-legged friend, buddy. Barbara is survived by her children: Molly, wife of Daniel Vangura, with whom she resided, Miriam, wife of Jim Kuzma and Matthew Rodeffer both of Nevada. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 955 Robert Fulton Hwy., Quarryville, PA on Friday, September 15, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends at the church from 10-11 a.m. Interment will be in the Upper Octorara Presbyterian Cemetery, Parkesburg at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
