Diane V. Reisinger, 71, of Quarryville, entered into rest on Friday, May 7, 2021 under Hospice care. Born in Lancaster County, she was the daughter of the late Chester L. and E. Virginia (Hess) Hershey. Diane graduated from Solanco High School and went to work at the former Kerr Glass in Lancaster. She was a member of the Ancient Order of Croaking Frogs in Quarryville. Diane spent her free time working in her yard and enjoyed yard sales. Her real passion was taking care of her many animals. In her younger years, she enjoyed horseback riding. Thomas W. Taglieri, Sr., age 82 of Pequea, passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at his son’s home. Born in Long Island, NY, he was the son of the late Joseph and Dorothy Butler Taglieri. Thomas honorably served his county in the United State Navy. He was a truck driver so he loved being on the road and feeding the squirrels in his free time. Surviving are 5 children: Tammy wife of John Dunbar of Manheim, Thomas Taglieri II of East Petersburg, Tony Taglieri of Willow Street, Tim Taglieri of Pequea, and Craig Lopez of Landisville, 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, a sister, Dorothy Abrams of Quarryville, and two half siblings: Paul husband of Patti Taglieri of Long Island and Debbie O’Shea of Long Island. Carolyn Rae Hanna, age 62 of New Providence, passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021. She was the wife of John Hanna. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of Elsie Rae Jordan and the late Henry Jordan, Jr. She was an Octorara High school graduate, class of 1976. Carolyn was a very loving and caring person. She loved her family and friends wholeheartedly. Gerald J. Linski, age 83 of Oxford, passed away on Friday, April 30, 2021. He was the husband of the late Jean Taska Linski. He was born in Wilkes Barre, PA, son to the late Anthony and Bertha Toloczko Linski. Gerald served as a Sergeant in the Artillery Division in the National Guard for 34 years where he retired in 1993. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, dancing, traveling, crabbing and clamming. He is survived by 3 children from a previous marriage, 4 stepchildren; Dolores wife of Daniel Henrickson of Bloomsberg, Laura wife of Joseph Leonardo of Bloomsberg, Eric husband of Jennifer Shultz of Mt. Joy, and Elaine wife of Robert Stead of Oxford, 8 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. Carolyn Mayberry, 69, of Oxford, entered into rest on Wednesday, April 28, 2021. Born in Lancaster County, she was the daughter of the late John and Delray Rowe (Roten) Mayberry. She was the loving wife of the late Samuel Marsh for 44 years at the time of his passing on November 15, 2020. Carolyn was a long-time member of Andrews Bridge Fellowship. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards, especially Phase 10 and she also enjoyed taking day trips and listening to country music. |
