Marvin Franklin Doulin Jr., 82, of Scalpy Hollow Road, Drumore, PA died Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Lancaster General Hospital. He was the husband of Bonnie E. Lefever Doulin. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Marvin F. Sr., and Minerva Graham Doulin. Marvin owned and operated Doulin’s Garage in Holtwood for 62 years. His hobbies included fishing on his boat in the Delaware Bay, riding his Harley trike, and his Boston Terriers. In his earlier years he was a boy scout and served as a scout master in Rock Springs, MD. He was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, a former member of the PA Towing Association, and the Lancaster County Automobile Association. Surviving beside his wife, Bonnie are 8 children, Bonnie “Pete” (Charles) Balentine, John (Tammy) Lefever, Karen (Bill) Alexander, Jeff (fiancee Barb High) Lefever, Kathy (Jeff) Brotzman Dennis (Dee) Doulin, Brenda (Chuck) Gleason, Daryl (Andrea) Doulin; 13 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
Marvin was preceded in death by a son Jerry Lee Lefever and a sister, Ilene Huss A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 11:00AM at Reynolds Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA. Visitations will be held on Friday from 6:30-8:30PM and again on Saturday from 9:00AM until the time of service.
