David Wade Farrell, Jr., 35, passed away on September 30, 2016. He is survived by his wife Laura, son Gunnar, daughter Anja, his father, his mother, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, his maternal grandparents, aunts, uncles and many cousins, all who loved him dearly. Davey was a wonderful father, devoted husband, and beloved son. He was an adventurist with a love of the outdoors, a proud Irishman, a kind considerate man that always met you with that brilliant smile of his, and that Irish twinkle in the eye. We will all carry a piece of Davey in our hearts, until we meet again. In honoring his life his adoring wife Laura, says, “I will love him forever. He was my life and I will carry his love in my heart. I know we will be together again.” ‘’go dti go bhfeiceann tusa aris” (Irish quote “Until we meet again”) Margaret Marie “Peg” Orris Teel, 87, of Oxford passed away Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Ware Presbyterian Village, Oxford. She was the wife of the late Harry N. Teel. Born in Scalp Level, PA she was the daughter of the late Lemon and Verna Bell Clevenger Orris. Peg was a member of Mt. Vernon Christian Church, Kirkwood. She is survived by two sons, H. Nelson Teel, Jr. (Kelly) of Oxford and David A. Teel (Sandy) of Dover, DE; two daughters, Joanne Cheek (Skip) of Oxford and Evelyn T. Alexander (Louis) of Oxford; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one sister, Thelma Pearl Teel of Oxford. Richard F. Miller, Jr., 67, of Greystone Lane, Quarryville, PA entered into rest on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Hospice and Community Care, Mt. Joy, PA. He and his wife Cynthia L. Keim Miller celebrated 42 years of marriage. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Richard F. and Vera Lee Ridinger Miller. Richard was a retired computer programmer analyst, working for several companies in the local area. Following retirement, he enjoyed working as a ride operator at Dutch Wonderland. He was an amusement park enthusiast, especially the roller coaster rides. He enjoyed going to baseball games with his son, gardening, home remodeling projects and attending rock concerts. He and his wife enjoyed hosting foreign students in their home, cruising, and traveling, having been to 10 different countries including China. He loved to dote on his family, especially his two grandchildren. |
