The Rising Sun football team lost 40-7 to visiting Fallston Friday night.
The Cougars struck early on a 20-yard scoring strike from Brendan Weinhold to Brad Rose on the second play from scrimmage.
Andrew Monaghan added another score midway through the first quarter to make it 14-0.
The Tigers trailed 26-0 at halftime.
Down 40-0, Rising Sun got on the scoreboard on a 27-yard TD run by Alex Billings with four minutes left in the game.
Billings finished with 40 yards on 10 carries. Quarterback Benn Lukk completed 11 of 21 passes for 127 yards. Ryan Barrick hauled in four passes for 48 yards. Will Barton had four receptions for 32 yards.
Dan Willert made four solo tackles and assisted on six others, Kyle Miller made four solo tackles and added four assists. Kyle Lammey was in on 13 tackles.
There is good news for the Tigers, who were outscored 113-19 in their first three games. The non-conference portion of their schedule is complete and Susquehanna Division play commences Friday night at 7 when Joppatowne visits Tiger Drive.
