Elijah Johnson's four-yard TD upped the lead to 14-6. After Kyle Savick made a tackle on a fourth down screen pass, quarterback Cam Cunningham hit Tyrell Hollingsworth in stride down the left sideline for a 48-yard scoring strike to make it 21-6. Hollingsworth had an interception to give Perryville the ball back and Cunningham's two-yard plunge extended the advantage to 28-6 with 10:43 left in the second quarter. A Jeff Pollard sack forced a punt and Griffin ran two yards for a score to make it 35-6. Kent County got within 35-14 before Johnson scored on a two-yard run with 20 seconds left in the half to put Perryville ahead 42-14 at the break. Johnson scurried 70 yards for a TD to raise the lead to 49-14 midway through the third quarter. Johnson added another TD with a 20-yard run sandwiched between two Kent TDs. Comments are closed.
