Shirley Ann Arches Gregson of Elkton died Sunday, January 17, 2016. She was 76. Born November 28, 1939 in Westerly, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Joe W. and Diane (Boyce) Crain. Mrs. Gregson was a member of the American Legion Post 15 and former Moose Lodge 851, both of Elkton. She was an avid bingo player, loved going to the casino, and greatly enjoyed going on cruises with her husband. Her biggest joy was spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, Joe Gregson; son, Ron Arches and his wife Linda; daughter, Sheila A. Pannell; stepson, Eric Gregson and his wife Alexis; stepdaughter, Anna A. Doerflein and her husband Jay; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Arches; brother, Vic Crain and his wife Mary; 18 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gregson was preceded in death by her son, Jim Arches; six brothers, William Crain, Wally Crain, Wadie Crain, John Crain, Bobbie Crain, and Larry Crain; and a sister, Edith Chadwick. A Celebration of Life will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 21, at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 E. Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921, where family and friends may visit beginning at 6 p.m. Burial will be held privately at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery on a later date. Comments are closed.
