Wanda Mae Ulmer of Elkton died Thursday, June 11, 2015. She was 69. Born on September 12, 1945, she was a life-long resident of the North East area. She was famous for making cakes. Mrs. Ulmer also enjoyed enjoyed playing poker with her buddies, bowling and Friday nights playing Bingo with friends. She retired from Social Services after 16 years of service in Elkton. She is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Charles L. Ulmer, Sr.; their children, Charlie Ulmer (Gretta) of North East, George Ulmer (Holly) of Elkton, and Julie Jordan (Joe) of Middletown, Del.; three siblings, Jean Ikner (Larry) of Elkton, Tony Reynolds (Victoria) of North East, and Sandy Whitt (Charles) of Paris, Texas; and seven grandchildren, Korrin, Josh, Owen, Avery, Isaac, Joey and Kennedy. She is also survived by her lifelong friend, Geraldine McNeal of Smyrna, Del.
She was preceded in death by her parents Corbet and Bessie Reynolds. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, June 14, from 6-8 p.m. and again on Monday, June 15, from 10 a.m. until funeral services begin at 11 a.m. at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East.
