Janice May Shiel of Elkton died at home Friday, November 13, 2015. She was 53. Born in New Castle, Del., on December 21, 1961, she was the daughter of Laura (Miles) Anton of Earleville, and the late William Anton. She was a member of New Life Faith Center. Mrs. Shiel enjoyed shopping for clothes, puzzles, planting flowers, playing on the phone and crocheting. Most of all she loved her family and enjoyed the time spent with them. She loved being a grandmother and watching her grandchildren grow. Survivors include her husband, Paul Edward Shiel, Sr.; two sons, Paul Edward Shiel, Jr. and Bryan Lee Shiel; her grandchildren: Hannah and Jackson, all of Elkton; seven siblings, Gennie Anton of Chesapeake City, Bill Anton of Earleville, Rodney Anton of North East, Jimmy Anton, Anna Gralewski, Cindy Biggs all of Elkton, and Susan Carpenter of Earleville.
Funeral service, conducted by Rev. Larry Johnson, will be held Monday, November 16, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m.m until service time. Burial will follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery. Comments are closed.
