Fern Leone Monscevitz of North East died Thursday, October 29, 2015, in Union Hospital of Cecil County, Elkton. She was 92. A lifelong resident of Cecil County, she was born in Rising Sun, on March 27, 1923, daughter of the late Charles Herman and the late Louise (Jaurdea) Kincaid. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Monscevitz worked as a bank teller. She is survived by a daughter: Eula Wink of North East; a grandson, Daniel Wink and his wife Robin of Elkton; two sisters, Margaret L. Kincaid and Melva E. Simmers both of Rising Sun; and her nieces and nephews: Melanie Schreiber, Lori Goeckle, Vesta Brown, C. Michael Kincaid and Kenneth Simmers.
She was the wife of the late Zane Monscevitz who died in 1988. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Vesta Kincaid; a brother, Roger G. Kincaid; and a nephew, Jerrald Simmers. Funeral service, conducted by Pastor Drew Christian, will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, with visitation beginning at 1 p.m. until service time. Burial will follow services in Brookview Cemetery, Rising Sun. Comments are closed.
