He enjoyed outdoor activities such as football, camping, four-wheeling and fishing. He is survived by his wife: Lynne M. Mitchell of Wilmington, Del.; three sons, Trenton F, Trevor M, and Tyler J Mitchell all of North East; his mother and step father Malinda and William Johnson of North East; His father: William P. Mitchell of Pa.; maternal grandfather, Matthew Lunsford of Rising Sun; paternal grandmother and step grandfather, Viola and Jim Bryant of Rising Sun; a brother, Philip Jason Mitchell of North East; two Nephews, Christian and Philip Mitchell; and a half-brother, Dillon Mitchell of Lebanon, Pa. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25, 2014 from 1-3 p.m. at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD. Jettie Iris Burcham of Nashville, Tenn., died Friday, April 18, 2014 at the Green Hill Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was 105.

Born December 19, 1943 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late John and Catherine Schmidt. She was an avid Baltimore Ravens fan, as well as a NASCAR fan. Mary G. Moyer of North East died Friday, April 18, 2014 in St. Agnes Hospital, Baltimore. She was 85.
Born in North East, on April 14, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Harry Gorrell and the late Beulah (Edwards) Gorrell Rambo. Ruby Brewer of Elkton died at home Wednesday, April 16, 2014. She was 77.
Born, February 21, 1937 in Beckley, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Everett and Leatha Wickline. With the voice of an angel, Ruby brought joy to so many through song. Skilled with the guitar and banjo, she traveled regularly to play and sing at local senior centers and churches including the Grange Hall, Victor Villa and Calvert Manor. Thomas L. Ragan of Rising Sun died at home Thursday, April 10. He was 71.
He was born September 9, 1942 in West Grove, Pa. to the late Arthur and Catherine (Craig) Ragan. Mr. Ragan retired as an accountant for Thiokol. William C. "Bert" Patchell, of North East, died Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Abbey Manor Assisted Living in Elkton. He was 85.
Mr. Patchell was a lifelong resident of Cecil County, born in North East on February 8, 1929, son of the late William Thomas and the late Mary C. Nickle Patchell. He served during the Korean War in the U.S. Army. He retires from Aberdeen Proving Ground where he worked in the Finance Department. Ruby Arlene Thompson, of Conowingo, died at her home on Tuesday, April 15, 2014. She was 91.
Mrs. Thompson was born in Rockview, West Virginia, on November 13, 1922, daughter of the late Charles H. and the late Nyanza Cook. Brenda L. Stevens Penrow of Perryville died Saturday, April 12, 2014 in Harford memorial Hospital, Havre de Grace. She was 52.
She was born May 27, 1961 in Okinawa, Japan, daughter of Arline Brzozowski Stevens of Perryville and the late Herbert D. Stevens. Earl Albert Linton of Port Deposit died at home Saturday, April 12, 2014. He was 88.
