Born in Beckley, W.Va., on May 31, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Walter Butler, Jr. and the late Rosie (Boyd) Butler. Prior to her retirement, she worked as the Bookkeeper for the Town of Chesapeake City for many years. Helen V. Schirling of North East died Thursday, February 6, 2014 in the Calvert Manor Healthcare Center. She was 94.
Born in Kirkwood, Del., on January 1, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Frank and the late Alice (Lloyd) Everett. Roger John Ervine III of Port Deposit died at home Friday, February 7, 2014. He was 26. Born December 28, 1987 in Baltimore, he was the son of Malinda Kaye Cerny Ervine Brady and the late Roger John Ervine II. Mr. Ervine was employed by Builders First of North East. Clinton Bryant Graybeal, Sr., of Rising Sun, died at home Friday, February 7, 2014. He was 82.
Born August 25, 1931 in Lancaster, Pa., he was the son of the late Donald and Connie (Jones) Graybeal. William Lee Grice of Newark, Del. died Sunday, February 2, 2014. He was 52.
Born July 20, 1961 in Elkton, he was the son of Martha Helsel Grice, Elkton, and the late Alvin Grice Jr. Chad Eric Davidson of North East died Tuesday, February 4, 2014. He was 39. He was born in Elkton on August 15, 1974. He worked as a postal clerk. Mr. Davidson loved playing his guitar with his friends and listening to all types of music. He also loved his football team, the Dallas Cowboys, and ice hockey, the Detroit Red Wings. `Edward Ray Fields of North East died Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Union Hospital, Elkton. He was 81. Born in Dante, Va., on August 18, 1932, he was one of 16 children of the late Tivis and the late Bertha (Poston) Fields. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Karen Davis-Meekins of Elkton died February 1, 2014. She was 48.
She was born September 19, 1965 in Elkton. John C. Kahl, of Port Deposit, died in Baltimore on Friday, January 31, 2014. He was 54.
Mr. Kahl was born on May 13, 1959 in Havre de Grace, son the late Henry William and Pauline Anna Sprinkle Kahl. Donald Ridgely Cruse died January 31, 2014. He was 59. He was born the youngest of five children to the late Charles and Virginia Cruse. Mr. Cruse spent his childhood boating and traveling with his family. He moved to North East at the age of 11, where he developed a love of nature and the natural world. He spent his youth exploring the woods of Elk Neck and the Chesapeake Bay. |
