Martin A. Hollobaugh, of Elkton, died at Genesis Healthcare Center in Elkton on Tuesday, July 22, 2014. He was 61.
Mr. Hollobaugh was born in Wilmington, Delaware on April 4, 1953, son of the late Francis L. Hollobaugh and Shirlee McCarthy. Joseph M. Ford, 70, of Carpenters' Point, passed away peacefully Monday July 21st, 2014 at Union Hospital. He was born on June 29th, 1944 in Elkton and was the son of the late John F. Ford and Carrie Creswell Ford. Joe was a devoted Father and Grandfather who served honorably in the United States Army and was a retired Meat Cutter from Acme Markets. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, boating, and most of all, spending time with friends and family. Norman Alan Patchell, 63 of North East, MD, passed away Monday, July 21, 2014 in Northwest Hospital Hospice, Randallstown, MD.
Born in Elkton, MD, on April 14, 1951, he was the son of the late Harold "Pink" and the late Ella Louise (Gibson) Patchell. Mr. Patchell was the beloved husband of 43 years of Lana Patchell. Richard Clyde Brewer, of Elkton, died on Sunday, July 20, 2014. He was 79.
Mr. Brewer was born in Canebrake, WV, on January 7, 1935, son of the late James Luther and Susie Gaynes Brewer. He was known to help others overcome obstacles in their lives. He was always willing to share his self-taught knowledge, he was a teacher to many. He was an entrepreneur known throughout the county for his high quality custom homes. He was a devoted family man, an avid gardener and a talented nature photographer who enjoyed music, history, science and fishing. Richard Leroy "Rick" Webb, of Port Deposit, died on Thursday, July 17, 2014. He was 59. In 1980, he began a successful career with Amtrak. HE advanced from a Block Operator to a Senior Safety Coordinator. Outside of work, Rick loved traveling around the country and cultivating the lush landscape surrounding his home. He was an attentive hose, he and his wife, Carla, enjoyed entertaining his family and friends in and around their pool. He was a beloved husband, son, father, brother and uncle, but his favorite title was Pop-Pop. He always made time for his grandchildren. J. Dean Page of Elkton died Friday, July 18, 2014 at Compassionate Care Hospice, Wilmington, Del. She was 61.
She was born on October 2, 1952 in Elkton, daughter of the late George Herbert Janney and Jane (Richards) Janney. Mrs. Page was a tax collection specialist for the Cecil County Government. Winona May Bernice Smith of Wilmington, Del. died at home Sunday, July 20, 2014. She was 35.
Born in Coatesville, Pa., she was the daughter of James Harold Smith of Tenn. and Marleen Kilgore Hollowell of Newark, Del. She enjoyed photography and Facebook. Walter H. Blizzard, Jr. of Elkton died Friday, July 18, 2014 at Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care, Newark, Del. He was 70.
He was born on October 31, 1943, in Newark, Delaware, son of the late Walter Henry Blizzard, Sr. and the late Goldie Adeline (Johnson) Blizzard. Mr. Blizzard was a groundskeeper and maintenance worker for Del Tech Community College. He enjoyed collecting DVDs. Marian Elizabeth McKinney of Elkton, formerly of North East, died Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Genesis Nursing Home, Severna Park. She was 97.
She was born on January 8, 1917, in Philadelphia, daughter of the late William Hemsley and the late Marian (Whiteman) Hemsley. Emma Ethel Eck Belcher of North East died at home Tuesday, July 15, 2014. She was 74. Born in Berwick, Pa. on October 13, 1939, she was the daughter of Charles Eck and Phyllis Bloom and stepdaughter of Walter E. Bloom, Jr. She spent much of her childhood in Berwick with her grandmother and grandfather Eckroth. Mrs. Belcher played piano and sang in the choir of her church. Her hobbies included crocheting beautiful throws, making silk flower arrangements, and baking (pies and apple dumplings were her specialty.) She enjoyed shopping, cookouts and holiday gatherings with her family. |
