William Lee Copenhaver of Rising Sun died at home Friday, December 18, 2015. He was 60. Born November 11, 1955 in Havre de Grace, he was the son of Joan Lorraine Wright Copenhaver and the late Emory Lee Copenhaver. Mr. Copenhaver was a veteran of the U.S. Army Special Forces. He was employed as an electrician for Local No. 26 of Washington, D.C. He is survived by his wife, Darla Brunette Copenhaver of Rising Sun; sons, David Johnathan Copenhaver of Denver, Col., Andrew Adam Copenhaver of Baltimore, Michael Lee Copenhaver and wife, Naomi, of Port Deposit; step-daughter, Brittany Sierra Harkins of Rising Sun; two grandchildren; and sister, Sharon Young and husband, Morris.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, December 24, noon, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville. Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, December 23, 7-9 p.m., at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville. Pastor Michael A. Caldwell of Asbury United Methodist Church of Port Deposit, will officiate. Burial will be in West Nottingham Cemetery, Colora. Comments are closed.
