Roy A. Vickery, of Elkton, died on Tuesday, October 1, 2013. He was 45. Mr. Vickery was born in Darby, Pa, on October 28, 1967, son of Nancy Hafner Vickery, of Elkton and the late Robert A. Vickery. He was a Troubleman and Lineman, employed by Delmarva Power.
Mr. Vickery was a member and Past Master of Union Lodge #48 AF & AM Elkton, 32 Degree Mason, Shriner, Past Director of the Royal Order of Shriners, member of the VFW Post 7687, Chesapeake City and he also enjoyed boating. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Vickery, two daughters, Jennifer Williams and husband, Jason, of White Marsh, Kristina Moore, of Elkton; brother, Robert Vickery and wife, Anne, of Earleville; nieces, Tammi Phillips and husband, Andrew, Kelly Frey and husband, Mike; great nieces, Victoria Phillips and Ariana Frey; great nephew, Justin Frey and his doberman, Jewels. Friends may call at the Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East on Saturday, October 5 from 2 to 4 p.m. Funeral services are immediately following at the funeral home at 4 p.m. Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society, Att.
