Rodney Wayne White, "Tater" died on October 10, 2018 at the age of 54. He was born September 8, 1964 in Havre de Grace, MD to Evelyn B. White (Cox) and the late Rodney L. White. Wayne was a horse groomer/trainer and spent most of his profession working around standardbred horses and racing them in various places, including Germany. He was a very knowledgeable person and could discuss any subject at great length. Also, he was funny and had his mother's giggle and his father's deep voice. Wayne loved children and they loved him back! Wayne was a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan and especially enjoyed watching his beloved team play at Wrigley Field, which he visited many times. He also enjoyed watching and rooting for the New Orleans Saints. Wayne was an avid gardener and was so proud of his vegetables, flowers, and fruit trees. He really had a green thumb. He also loved having pig roasts. Most of all, Wayne loved spending time with his family and friends, especially with his grandchildren. He was loved by all and will truly be missed. Wayne is survived by his wife of 22 years, Mary White of Walkertown, NC; daughter, Stephanie Wileman (Jeremy) of Walkertown, NC; and mother, Evelyn B. White of Colora, MD; sister, Susan Montgomery (Harold) of North East, MD; sister, Juanita White of Colora, MD; brother, Billy White (Lynda) of Nottingham, PA; He is also survived by granddaughters, Aubrie Noelle and Krislyn "JoJo" Bowden; nephews, Jimmy and Lil' Billy (Tori); great nephew, Cody; "adopted grandson," Aidan; best buddies, Willy Carter and Angie Thayer Troy, and his dogs, Chipper and Petey. In addition to his father, Wayne is preceded in death by his niece, Melissa (Montgomery) Coale.
A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 111 South Queen Street, Rising Sun, MD 21911. A celebration of Wayne's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at the funeral home where family and friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to the "American Liver Foundation" or "Juanita White" on behalf of Wayne's granddaughters, Aubrie and Krislyn "JoJo" Bowden, and sent in care of the funeral home, P.O.
