Rodney Brian “Rope” Williams of North East died Friday, September 5, 2014 in Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center of Baltimore. He was 49. Born May 11, 1965 in Havre de Grace, he was the son of Rodney Bruce Williams and Ellen Conrad Williams. Mr. Williams was formerly employed as a truck driver by Cowan of Baltimore. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by sons, Brian S. Williams of Conowingo, and Zane Klawitter of North East; daughter, Angela L. Williams of Conowingo; brothers, Matthew A. Williams, Joseph F. McCardell and William M. Jackson, all of Rising Sun, Nicholas J. Williams and Zachary B. Williams, both of Coatesville, Pa., and David W. Jackson of North East; and sisters, Valerie W. Hopkins of Glen Rock, Pa., and Jeanette K. Provencal of Conowingo. He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Heath Williams. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, September 12, 2014, 2 p.m., at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church of Colora. Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, September 11, 2014, 7-9 p.m., at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Pastor Dr. David Burke of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in West Nottingham Cemetery, Colora. Comments are closed.
