Rickey Lee Wright of Elkton died at home Thursday, February 20, 2014. He was 58. Born in Maryland, on December 7, 1955, he was the son of the late Fred Albert and the late Mae Louise (Pierce) Wright. Mr. Wright was the Head of Maintenance for Lincoln University, Pa., where he worked for 30 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of North East. He enjoyed boating, movies, carpentry and hot rods, especially his yellow Challenger. He also enjoyed sitting by the woodstove and his many good friends at his job. He was a good Christian man and like listening to Christian music. The thing Rick loved most of all was the time spent with his family.
Survivors include two daughters, Tina Wright of Elkton, and Bonnie Willien of North East; two grandchildren, Jesonnie Wright and Brendan Willien both of North East; his sister, Carol Neall of Galena; the mother of his children, Wanda Hollermann of White Marsh; two nephews, Matthew Connor of North East, and Daniel Connor of Conowingo; and many great aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of North East, 206 Mechanics Valley Road, North East.
