Richard C. Cleveland, IV, age 70, of Elkton, MD, passed away Saturday, July 1, 2017. Born in Baltimore, MD, on January 12, 1947, he was the son of the late Richard C., III and Marie Cleveland. Mr. Cleveland was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, and retired from Ametek Manufacturing, Newark, DE. He was proud of his service to his country as a Vietnam veteran, and an active member of Singerly Fire Company. Survivors include his sons, Chris Bradley (Carli) and Nick Bradley (Mary); daughter-in-law, Dorothy Bradley; sister, Ruth Gallagher, Norristown, PA; 4 grandsons; 1 granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Cleveland was preceded in death by his son, John Bradley, Jr.; and godson, Troy Wiesmiller. Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, July 7, 2017, at Singerly Fire Company, 300 Newark Avenue, Elkton, MD, where visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Interment will be private.
