Ralph McKnight of North East died at home Sunday, August 16, 2015. He was 90. Born in War, W.Va., on March 6, 1925, he was the son of the late Frank and the late Goldie (Hager) McKnight. Mr. McKnight served his country in the U.S. Army. He retired from Aberdeen Proving Ground. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and restoring antique cars. In his later years he enjoyed feeding the squirrels and birds while being cared for by his daughter, Linda Sue, and her son, Terry. He is survived by his children, Robert F. McKnight and his wife Virginia, Linda Sue Hutchison Glessner and her husband, Jim all of North East; and six grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Ralph E McKnight. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, August 21, from 6-8 p.m. at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East. Private graveside services will be held on Saturday, August 22, in Bethel Cemetery, North East. Comments are closed.
