Ralph C. Graybeal of Liberty Grove died Monday, December 1, 2014 in Christiana Hospital of Newark, Del. He was 69. Born April 24, 1945, a lifelong resident of Liberty Grove, he was the son of the late David and Carrie Madron Graybeal. Mr. Graybeal was retired from Harbison-Walker Refractories of North East, and a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of Harmony Lodge No. 53 of Port Deposit, and the Knights Templar. In addition, Mr. Graybeal was a hunter and fisherman, and he loved crabbing and gardening. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Carol J. Graybeal of Liberty Grove; his loving pet, Ellie; sisters-in-law, Margaret Graybeal, Doris Sherman, Patricia Sills; nieces and nephews, Laura Sambuichi, Linda Wallace and husband, Bill, Tammy Watters and husband, Zach, George Sills and wife, Jen, Peggy Sills, Robin Sills, Betsy Sills, Brian Sherman and David Graybeal. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Ernest Graybeal and Melvin Graybeal; and nephew, David Graybeal. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, December 6, 2014, noon, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville. Visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, December 6, 2014, 10 a.m.-noon, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Pastor Larry Johnson of the New Life Faith Center Church of Port Deposit, will officiate. Burial will be in Brookview Cemetery, Rising Sun. Comments are closed.
