Pauline Viola Miller of Elkton died Friday, February 28, 2014 in the University of Maryland Hospital, Baltimore. She was 76. A lifelong resident of Cecil County, she was born in Elkton on July 25, 1937, the daughter of the late John L.H. and the late Frances Carrie (Foracre) Heverin. Mrs. Miller enjoyed her garden and all types of flowers. Most of all, she loved her family and the time she spent with them, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Irvin L. Miller, Jr. and his wife Joy of North East, Randy W. Miller and his companion Debbie of Elkton, Glenn A. Miller and his wife Dottie, Diana L. “Sissy” Weber and her husband Bobby and Agnes Jamie V. "Missy" Simmons and her husband Danny all of North East; her sister: Betty Lou Hammonds of Rising Sun, and brother: William "Butch" Heverin of Elkton; nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
She was the wife of the late Irvin L. Miller, Sr. who died on June 11, 2010. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by three brothers: Walter, Edward and Robert Heverin; and a sister, Esther A. "Judy" Miller. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, where visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. Burial will follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery.
