Nancy Lou Godin of North East died Sunday, October 11, 2015. She was 79. Born in Baltimore on September 2, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Robert and the late Catherine (Maxwell) Hieronimus. Mrs. Godin enjoyed crocheting baby blankets, knitting, sewing, bowling and playing Bingo. She is survived by seven daughters, Serafina Manfre of Huntsville, Alabama, Nancy A. Leizear of North East, Dawn Hamilton of Havre de Grace, Joy Manfre of Cordova, Lisa Sykes of Hempstead, Bernadette Regan of Fort Worth, Texas, Pamela manfre of Parkville; a stepsister, Dolly Barrows, and stepbrother, Richard Hieronimus, both of Baltimore; a half-sister, Barbara Ann Shoemaker of Baltimore; 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
She was the wife of the late Stephen Godin. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 17 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Anne's Episcopal Church, 315 South Main Street, North East. Memorial contributions may be made to either the American Lung Association or Alzheimer's Association, in care of Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main St., North East. Comments are closed.
