Marianne Burrows Lilley of Bonita Springs, Fla., formerly of Perryville, died Wednesday, August 27, 2014 in North Collier Hospital of Naples, Fla. She was 83. Born September 26, 1930 in Perryville, she was the daughter of the late Abner Leslie and Violet Elizabeth Thomas Burrows. Mrs. Lilley was a member of the United Methodist Church of Perryville, the Eastern Star, Worthy Grand Matron, State of Maryland, 1984, and Ladies Auxiliary to the Perryville Fire Company. She is survived by her sons, Charles W. Lilley of Conowingo, Richard W. Lilley of Cape Coral, Fla., Keith W. Lilley and Kevin W. Lilley, both of Bonita Springs, Fla.; daughter, Jacqueline A. Chapman of Herford, N.C.; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur “Tinker” William Lilley and sister, Jeanee Penrose. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, September 2, 2014, 1 p.m., at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville. Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, September 2, 2014, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Pastor Herb Cain, Jr. of Hopewell United Methodist of Port Deposit will officiate. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery, Port Deposit. Comments are closed.
