Lynnette Dawn Brinton of North East died Sunday, July 15, 2018, in the Suburban Community Hospital, Norristown, Pa. She was 56. A lifelong resident of Cecil County, she was born in Elkton, on January 20, 1962, the daughter of the late Richard Lee and Frances Lee (Osborne) Corron. Mrs. Brinton worked as the lead custodian for Cecil County Public Schools, spending time at Bainbridge, Cecil Manor, North East Middle School and Rising Sun High School. She was an active member of Mercy Missionary Baptist Church, teaching Sunday School, Bible School and helping out wherever she could. In her spare time, she enjoyed landscaping, crafting, singing and tanning. Survivors include her husband of 22 years, David Brinton; two children, Crystal Preston of North East, and Jason Preston (Laura) of Chesapeake City; her siblings, Gary Corron (Rose), Larry Corron (Darlene), Bruce Corron and Lisa Ewing. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Frances Brinton; sister-in-law, Christina Snyder (Keith); uncle Frank Corron (Connie); aunt, Linda Dietzal (Joseph); her three grandchildren; and her best friend and caregiver, Patricia Almony.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brinton was also preceded in death by a brother: Ronald Dean Corron. Visitation will be held on Friday evening, July 20, from 6-8 p.m. at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, where funeral services will be held on Saturday morning beginning at 11.
