Kimberly Faye (Smythe) Hunt of Elkton died Sunday, March 9, 2014 in the University of Maryland Hospital, Baltimore. She was 54. A lifelong resident of Cecil County, she was born in Elkton, on November 13, 1959. Prior to her retirement, she worked at the Maryland House, Chesapeake House and Delaware House on Interstate 95.
She loved eagles, jewelry, peace signs and the color purple. She is survived by two sons, Larry E. Hunt, Jr. of Perryville, and Corey M. Hunt of Rising Sun; her parents, Roger “Pete” and Albertha (Meekins) Smythe, of North East; five sisters, Terri Grier of North East, Pam Ray of Aberdeen, Pixie Maes of North East, Wendy Tippit of Rising Sun, and Jeanette Smythe of Kansas; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Christopher M. Hunt; a sister, Tracey Smythe; and a grandson, Christopher W. Hunt. Memorial services, conducted by Rev. Phil Meekins, will be held Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, where the family will receive guests beginning at 10 a.m. Comments are closed.
