Kenneth Earl Bibey of Perryville died at home Sunday, March 29, 2015. He was 87. Born January 31, 1928 in Goodwill, W.Va., he was the son of the late Charlie Edward and Vergie Lee Taylor Bibey. Mr. Bibey was a member of the Eagles Hunting Club, the National Rifle Association, and the Susquehanna Good Sam Camping Club. He was owner/operator of Bibey Trucking, Inc., for almost 50 years. Mr. Bibey is survived by his wife, Shirley J. Jones Bibey of Perryville; son, Curtis D. Bibey and wife, Tammy, of Perryvlle; daughter, Joyce E. Karschner and husband, Calvin, of Perryville; grandchildren, Calvin Karschner, Jr., Sean Pollock, Charles Karschner; great granddaughter, Alexia Pollock; and sister, Marie Zugibe of Stony Point, NY.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, April 2, 11 a.m., at the Charlestown Missionary Baptist Church. Visitations for family and friends will be held Wednesday, April 1, 2015, 6-8 p.m., at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, with a second visitation Thursday, April 2, 10-11 a.m., at the church prior to the funeral service. Pastor Dennis Gilbert, Sr., of Charlestown Missionary Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mark’s Cemetery, Perryville.
