Joseph R. Class of Colora died Tuesday, October 7, 2014. He was 53. Born August 4, 1961 in Baltimore, he was the son of Raymond E. and Kathleen E. Class. Mr. Class was and accomplished plasterer and drywall mechanic His true passion was working with thoroughbred race horses and he trained them professionally. Mr. Class loved fishing, animals, and working in his vegetable gardens. He was also an avid Ravens and Orioles fan. He was a jokester at heart and could always make those around him laugh. Joe cherished his time spent with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Korin Class; brother, Raymond W. Class and his wife, Lisa; sister, Theresa Haupt and her husband, Chris; and many nephews, nieces and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Class. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, October 13, at the New Life Faith Center, 1820 Jacob Tome Highway, Port Deposit, MD 21904, where family and friends may visit beginning at 5 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made payable to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
