Joseph J. Ingram, Jr. of Colora died Tuesday, July 29, 2014 in the VA Hospital of Baltimore. He was 74. He was born in Marion, Ala. on July 22, 1940, son of the late Joseph Jefferson and the late Lilly M (Lott) Ingram. Mr. Ingram was a United States Army Staff Sergeant with 20 years of service. He also retired from the Civil Service as an Exhibit Specialist and Ingram Demolition, Tallahassee, Ala. Mr. Ingram was a member of the American Legion Mason Dixon Post 194, Rising Sun. He was known to “take care of everybody.” He is survived by three daughters, Sharon Ann Graybeal of North East, Sandra Lynn Van-Fossan of Peachtree City, Ga., Jill McClintick of Rising Sun, and two sons, Bill McDuffy of Augusta, Ga., Joseph J. McDuffy of Tampa, Fla.: 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Ingram. A funeral service will be held Saturday, August 2, 2014 at noon, with visitation from 10-noon at Glorious Presence Church, 1552 Singerly Road, Elkton. Burial with full military honors will follow in West Nottingham Cemetery, Colora. Memorial contributions may be made to the Joe Ingram Memorial Fund at Glorious Presence Church. Comments are closed.
