Joseph Albert Garrett of Chesapeake City died Friday, August 30, 2013. He was 44. Born in Philadelphia on August 28, 1969, he was the son of Joan (Sooy) Garrett of Bridgeton, N.J. and the late Robert Garrett. He was a forklift operator, who enjoyed fishing, crabbing, the Philadelphia Eagles, and most of all his time with his sons. Mr. Garrett is survived by his wife, Robin (Phelps) Garrett; three sons, Daniel Colin Phelps, Joseph Albert Garrett, Jr. and Justin Michael Robert Garrett all of Chesapeake City; a sister: Robin Garrett of Vineland, N.J. and brother, Robert "Bob" Garrett of Bridgeton, N.J. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, September 5, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, 3rd & Bohemia Streets, Chesapeake City, where the family will welcome friends from 11 a.m. until service time. Interment will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Elkton. Comments are closed.
