James Paul Smith, Jr., of Rising Sun died Monday, November 10, 2014 at Union Hospital of Cecil County, Elkton. He was 58. Born October 25, 1956 in Havre de Grace, he was the son of the late James Paul and Georgia Ilene Slayman Smith. Mr. Smith was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and was employed by Terumo Cardiovascular Group of Elkton. He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Tii Howard Smith; children, Stephanie Tii Carr, Lindsey Michelle Smith, Heather Renee Arsee; grandchildren, Kacie Lynn Carr, Keaten Taylor Featherstone, Maliah Renee Frazao, Natalie Grace Arsee, Emerson Cade Levi Arsee, Leroy Michael Trefethen, Kayleigh Michelle Smith, and Dustin Ross Brooks, Jr.; and brothers, Dale Henry Smith, Samuel Paul Smith (Kathleen), Homer James Smith. He was preceded in death by his son, James Paul Smith III; brothers, Sandy Ollie Smith and Larry Smith.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, November 14, 2014, 1 p.m., at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville. Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, November 14, 2014, 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Pastor Michael A. Caldwell of Asbury United Methodist Church and Tome Memorial United Methodist Church, both of Port Deposit, will officiate. Burial will be in West Nottingham Cemetery, Colora. Comments are closed.
