James Edward Hindman, 82 yrs, of Perryville, MD, died Wednesday, December 16, 2015 in Harford Memorial Hospital of Havre de Grace, MD. Born November 5, 1933 in Purcellville, VA, he was the son of the late Evelyn Hindman. Mr. Hindman was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Perryville United Methodist Church, The Susquehanna American Legion Post No. 135 of Perryville, MD, and the Susquehanna Masonic Lodge No. 130 AF & AM of Havre de Grace, MD. He was formerly employed as a mechanic by the Aberdeen Proving Ground of Aberdeen, MD. Mr. Hindman is survived by his wife, Gladys Ann Sellare Hindman of Perryville, MD; daughters, Tina Marie Kerr and husband, Michael Gordon Kerr of Perryville, MD, Brenda Ann Wallace and husband, Douglas Lee Wallace of Monrovia, MD; daughter-in-law, Linda Lee Hindman of Perryville, MD; grandchildren, Jaime Marie Weimer of Fort Lee, VA, Tyler Michael Hindman of Perryville, MD, Jared Eugene Klunk of Perryville, MD, Diana Lynn Fritz of Monrovia, MD, and Douglas Lee Wallace, Jr., of Monrovia, MD.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Hindman was preceded in death by his son, Michael Edward Hindman. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Susquehanna American Legion No. 135 of Perryville, MD, in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O.
