George R. Gregg, Jr. of Oxford, Pa. died Monday, January 5, 2015 at Jennersville Regional Hospital, West Grove, Pa. He was 56. Born in Oxford he was the son of George R. Gregg, Sr. of Oxford and the late Constance Ann Cunningham Stoddard. Mr. Gregg was employed with General Motors at the Boxwood Plant, Wilmington, Del., retiring in 2000. He attended St. John’s United Methodist Church, Elkton. Mr. Gregg loved to spend time with his grandchildren.
He was the husband of Anita Callaghan. He is survived by his wife; father; one stepson, Matthew Callaghan of Oxford; two step-daughters, Sherry Dicrecchio of Springfield, Pa., and Amy Callaghan of Newark, Del.; three step-grandchildren, Emma Luszcz, Patrick and Carley Dicrecchio; aunt, Millie Gregg of Oxford; and two cousins, Sandy and Janie. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 9, at the Edward L. Collins, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc., 86 Pine St., Oxford, where friends and family may visit from 10-11 a.m. Burial will be private. Comments are closed.
