Fannie Lucille Bonham of Elkton died at home Wednesday, August 15, 2018. She was 85. Born in Wytheville, Va. on June 13, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Sarah Jane (Wright) Stroup. Mrs. Bonham worked for Patriotic Fireworks for many years. She enjoyed playing canasta, working puzzles, gardening and watching her hummingbirds. She also liked watching Fox News. Survivors include three children, Freda Marlene Maxwell (James) of Perryville, James G. Bonham (Adeline) of North East, and Sera Lee Hines (Douglas) of Elkton; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was the wife of the late James Roy Bonham who died May 3, 1995. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Frances G. Bonham and son, Richard A. Bonham. Funeral service will be held Monday, August 20, at noon at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, with visitation beginning at 11 a.m. until service.
