Elinor Lynch Schrack of Ambler, Pa., formerly of North East, died Friday, October 13, 2017. She was 89. Born in North East on August 3, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Joseph J. and Esther (Clark) Lynch. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Schrack was a teacher at North East Elementary and Bells School, Washington Twp, N.J. While teaching in N.J., she was presented the Governor’s Award for Teaching Excellence in the State of New Jersey.
She enjoyed baking, knitting and sailing. Survivors include her husband, Richard Way Schrack; their daughter, Sharon Beales (Jeff) of Bethlehem, Pa.; and two grandsons, Donald Beales and Michael Ballato. In addition to her parents, Elinor was also preceded in death by her siblings, Isabelle Lynch, Robert Lynch, Louise Lynch and Edith Rose Walbeck. A memorial service, conducted by Father John Schaeffer, will be held Tuesday, October 17, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Anne's Episcopal Church, 315 South Main Street, North East, followed by burial in the Christine Cameron Memorial Gard Comments are closed.
