Donald Michael Holmes of North East died Thursday September 6, 2018. He was 54. He was born February 12, 1964 in Havre de Grace to the late Mike Holmes and Betty (Wood) Page. He was a 36-year drywall veteran; a trade taught to him by his father. Mr. Holmes was a hardworking man who was always there to lend a hand. For the past 19 years, he was employed by Master Interiors of Newark, Delaware. Mr. Holmes enjoyed car cruises, car shows and tinkering with his 1970 AMC Javelin. He loved listening to rock music and talking about it with his brothers. He loved animals, especially dogs, and had a special place in his heart for his Yorkie Bella and his grand dog Pebbles. He took pride in his vast t-shirt collection, Clint Eastwood, and traveling backroads on long drives. He is survived by his wife: Tina, daughter, Brittany, mother, Betty Page, brother, David (Tamarya), brother, Danny (Lori), stepsister, Pam Chicchetti (Anthony) and stepsister, Michelle Decker (RB), several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He will always be remembered as Uncle Cool Guy to his grand nieces and nephew. The circle of his family and friends is unrivaled.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Alfred and Irma (Reynolds) Holmes and maternal grandparents, Frank and Mildred (Nickle) Wood. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 12, 2at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, where visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. Comments are closed.
