Charles Dunton Tull of Elkton died Monday, March 14, 2016 in the Union Hospital of Cecil County, Elkton. He was 91. Born in Pocomoke on March 29, 1924, he was the son of the late Eugene and the late Alice (Dunton) Tull. Mr. Tull served his country in the U.S. Navy. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a master plumber for the U.S. Government at Aberdeen Proving Ground. He was a member of the North East United Methodist Church, North East Lions Club, and was the oldest living member of the North East Fire Company. Mr. Tull is survived by his daughter, Susan T. Wilson and son, Gene Tull both of Elkton; five grandchildren, Aaron Wilson of Denver, Col., Seth Wilson and his wife Michelle of Denver, Laura Wilson Boston and her husband Brian of Houston, Texas, and daughter, Bailey, Matthew Tull of Baltimore, and Malorie Tull of Phoenixville, Pa.
He was the husband of the late Mildred Simpers Tull who died on July 25, 2006. In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by his three brothers, Paul, William and Kenneth. Funeral service, conducted by Rev. Bert Jicha, will be held Friday, March 18, at 2 p.m. at North East United Methodist Church, 308 South Main Street, North East, where visitation will begin at 1 p.m. until service time. Burial will follow in North East Methodist Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the North East Methodist Church, North East Lions Club or the North East Fire Company, all in care of Crouch Funeral Home, 127 S. Main St. North East, MD 21901.
