Charles “Chuck” Bradford Haley, Jr. of North East died at home Wednesday, October 8, 2014. He was 73. Born in Baltimore on December 3, 1940, he was the son of the late Charles B. Haley, Sr. and the late Mabel (Allen) Haley. Mr. Haley retired from Aberdeen Proving Ground with over 25 years of service as a Civilian Gunner. He served in the Delaware National Guard. He enjoyed hunting, crabbing, fishing, decoy carving, bowling, antique cars and gardening. He is survived by his wife, Dawn Haley; two sons, Steve Haley of Earleville, Christopher Haley of Chesapeake City; a sister, Barbara Haley of Fla.; and five grandchildren, Elizabeth, Victoria, Alexis, Walker and Colten.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, October 16, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, where the family will receive guests beginning at 1 p.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Bakers Cemetery, Aberdeen. Comments are closed.
