Carolyn Simpkins of Perryville died Sunday, April 17, 2016 in the University of Maryland Harford Memorial Hospital of Havre de Grace,. She was 77. Born March 8, 1939 in Bridgeton, N.J, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Myrtle Watson Kirkbride. Mrs. Simpkins was a member of the Perryville United Methodist Church and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Community Fire Company of Perryville. She is survived by her children, Dale Simpkins, Terry Simpkins, Sandra Snelling, Wendy Beamer, and John Simpkins; grandchildren, Chris Snelling, Tara Snelling, Samantha Snelling, Lissa Snelling, Eric Simpkins, Jesse Short, Nicholas Beamer, Patrick Simpkins, Celine Simpkins, Shaun Simpkins, and Shane Simpkins; great grandchildren, Josh Snelling, Timothy Simpkins, Aleah Simpkins, Brianna Simpkins, Kaylee Simpkins, and Jayden Johnson.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Simpkins was preceded in death by her husband, Tim C. Simpkins. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, April 21, 2016, 10 a.m., at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville. Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2016, 7-9 p.m., at the funeral home. Rev. Ray Graham of the Perryville United Methodist Church will officiate. Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 21, 1 p.m., in the Centre Square United Methodist Church Cemetery, Logan Township, N.J. Comments are closed.
